Kristi’s Wish

You can be the star atop a child’s Christmas tree again this season by participating in the Kristi Visocky Memorial Foundation’s Kristi’s Wish star-studded holiday campaign,

“Once again this holiday season we hope to brighten things up and cover the city with stars,” said Bob Visocky, founder and Executive Director of the Kristi Visocky Memorial Foundation. “Kristi’s Wish” is a warm and wonderful way to help provide gifts and support for children in need during the holidays. Last year the campaign raised over $17,000.

Area residents can help by purchasing and signing $1, $5, or more Kristi’s Wish cards at all Schrader Country stores and TAPS Sports Bar & Grill.

All proceeds from Kristi’s Wish will once again be used to assist local families facing various challenges. “We are doing this again to help people and families who are struggling to put their lives back together. We know that times have been rough, and so we want to help by giving families a chance to put toys under the tree and food on the table,” said Visocky.

This year the foundation has selected S.A.V.A, Crossroads Safehouse, Project Self-Sufficiency and Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County as the recipients of the Kristi’s Wish campaign. High Country Beverage of Loveland has again stepped up to the plate by off-setting the cost of printing of the posters and stars. “Without the generosity of businesses like Schrader’s and High Country Beverage, we wouldn’t be able to provide the dollars we have generated for this project,” stated Visocky. “They have been phenomenal!” Kristi’s Wish has raised and donated over $45,000 in the past three years.
