Happy New Year! Welcome to 2011. Don’t know about you but we are ready for a new year, this past one has been interesting to say the least. 2010 has been all about letting go of old baggage, blocks and beliefs that no longer serve us, we’ve had major lessons to learn and challenges to face. This is a time of change, with old systems and structures breaking down to allow for a new and brighter tomorrow. It’s been quite an adventure, and it’s not over yet, but there are incredible things on the horizon. 2011 should be way more fun.

We are excited to announce an exciting series of workshops to be held in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest with Dr. Joe Dispenza, programs that will empower you with the tools to change your mind and change your life, forever. We have worked with Dr. Joe for the past year helping to coordinate these workshops. Believe us when we say this series has been one of the most transformative things we have ever done. We have experienced remarkable and positive shift in our lives and so have many of the attendees we have worked with. We will be hosting a series of three workshops, each one progressive on the last, beginning in March; be sure to check out www.BellaSpark.com for more details and a location near you.

We also want to thank all who supported the Kristi Visocky Memorial Foundation holiday project, Kristi’s Wish. With the help of High Country Beverage, Schrader’s Country Stores and area restaurants, Kristi’s Wish raised $10,000. The proceeds were divided between four northern Colorado organizations to provide holiday support and gifts to their client families: Project Self-Sufficiency, Crossroads Safe House, Lutheran Family Services and Salvation Army. A big thank you to those who purchased a Kristi’s Wish card, to the businesses who participated and especially to the staff at Schrader’s Country Stores for really getting behind this promotion, you helped to make the holidays brighter for area families and children in need. www.kristisfund.com

Wishing you a new year filled with joy, love and adventure.

Are you a skeptic?

Are you skeptical of psychics?

Do you think they are all just scams, like 1-800-Psychic?

I want you to know that some people really are psychic and they really can talk to dead people.

The first time I met a psychic... I remember the first time I met a psychic. After my daughter Kristi died I was attending a meeting for parents who have lost children when this woman came up to me afterward and said "Your daughter was standing behind you all night long and she's a beautiful girl." Just about knocked my socks off!

It took me a month to get up the courage to go see her and when I did I found it to be amazing. I really was able to connect with my daughter Kristi.

It was by far one of the best things I have ever done. Not only am I able to talk to my daughter, but it put me on a path which led to creating BellaSpark Productions.

According to psychic John Holland... Your loved ones are as anxious to connect with you as you are to connect with them.

My testimonial... I have worked with renowned psychic mediums John Holland and Suzane Northrop for a few years now. They are accurate, compelling and passionate about helping people and spirits connect to their loved ones.

I hope you will join me for this amazing evening.

Women Will Save the World

The doorbell rang at 5:30 a.m. Jarred out of a sound sleep, I jumped up, still in my pajamas, and glanced out the kitchen window. At the sight of the two squad cars, my heart stopped.

I opened the door to two police officers and a Chaplain. Before any of them could speak, I yelled to my husband, “Bob, get up! And, put some pants on!”

I wondered at that comment but somehow knew that morning would be a defining life moment. I didn’t want it to be remembered with my husband standing in his boxers. I let the officers stand there on the front stoop; none of us said a word. Over and over, my mind screamed, “Don’t let them in. Don’t let them in! They can’t say what they came to say if we don’t let them in.”

Bob appeared in the hall, and the blood drained from his face. “This can’t be good,” he said. And, then, he let them in.

“Do you have a daughter named Kristi?” asked the tall one.

This is the opening of my chapter in a new just released book Women Will Save the World.

Conscious Living: As Easy As Pie?

My mantra this year is to live consciously. What is conscious living? For me it means mindfully choosing my actions throughout the day. Stopping along the way to decide what the next step is, what is it I want to create, how I want things to look.

It’s difficult and many times I catch myself halfway through the day and realize that I hadn’t given much thought to anything, that I had been pretty much on auto pilot, scurrying around, trying to get things done. Every once in a while though, I feel like I am getting the hang of it. With Bob’s permission, I share this story with you.

Are you still ‘BellaSparking’?

As I look back on the speakers BellaSpark has presented over the years, I realize all of them have offered messages I needed to hear, lessons I needed to learn.

I have learned that we are all blessed with an abundance of guides and angels who are with us daily, and when I am able to get out of my own way I have experienced their assistance in amazing ways. I understand that the veils are thinning, that our ability to connect with those on the other side will get easier. However, I often feel a disconnect or I question the messages I am getting. I ask my guides “How I can do this better? What am I missing?”

And thus, I tend to draw in what I need most, those speakers and visionaries who can help me on my journey; funny how the Universe works.

I Spy

I babysat my granddaughter this past weekend. We went bowling, ate pizza and shared jokes. She likes me to sleep with her when I am there, quite an adventure as she is all over the bed. I must like getting kicked in the stomach in the middle of the night!

Sunday morning we were laying in bed chatting and she asked if I wanted to play “I Spy.” If you don’t have little children, you might not be familiar with this game where one person picks out something in the room, something “blue” perhaps and the other person has to figure out what it is. Great for teaching children how to be observant and also for keeping them busy.

Hampton said “Moonie (that’s my sister who recently passed away) always plays with me.” I asked her when she played with Moonie and she replied “She sleeps with me every night. We play in the morning when we wake up.” I asked her how Moonie was doing and she told me that Moonie said she was very happy and was not in any pain any more.

To my sister…

My sister Mary Danz passed away on Thursday, December 15. She was a beautiful soul with a generous laugh and wonderful smile that lit up a room.

You were a Christmas baby, born on December 25, thus our parents names you Mary. Compassionate, caring, generous and loving, you embodied Christmas year round, sharing your many beautiful gifts with all. You loved to craft and make unique presents for family and friends, but your true gift, one you gave so freely, was your heart.

You were my big sister. We shared a bed when we were children, snuggling together, whispering in the dark. Interesting how life always brings us full circle. I lay next to you those last few nights, sharing stories of our childhood. And I read to you, just as I did when we were children, me just learning to read, you helping me sound out the words. This time you were quiet, but I knew you were listening. It was a beautiful book, a parable about the journey of life; you understood far better than I.

On Gratitude

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful. Buddha

I am writing this article as the snow falls in Colorado. It is late night and it is quiet; so very quiet one can almost hear the voice of heaven. The responsibilities and to do list are far away, and if only for a moment I am immersed in the stillness. And I am thankful; thankful for the quiet, for the much-needed opportunity to slow down for a moment, clear the clutter and quiet the never-ending cacophony in my brain.

Celebrating Oneness

What is Oneness? It is a belief that we are all connected, every living being and organism on the planet. It is a knowing that there is an unseen web that binds us all.

We Are All One is the one idea that truly changes everything. When we see that we are all connected, when we see ourselves in each other, we cannot help but nurture, love and support the other. When we understand our connection to nature, we can no longer destroy our planet.
